Mengqun Feng

Mengqun Feng currently is a postdoctoral researcher specializing in nanomechanical sensor systems and chemical sensing technologies. She received her Ph.D. in March 2025 from the University of Tsukuba-NIMS Joint Graduate School. Her interdisciplinary research bridges materials science, engineering, and analytical modeling, aiming to enable intelligent and portable gas sensing systems. Her work has addressed topics including signal augmentation, sensor system selectivity, humidity-sensitive sorption modeling, and dual-domain acoustic sensing.

She has actively presented her research at major international conferences such as IMCS and IEEE SENSORS and was awarded the Best Oral Presentation Award at the 19th International Meeting on Chemical Sensors (IMCS 2023). Dr. Feng specializes in advanced sensing materials, thin-film layers, sensor engineering, and real-time gas analysis. Dr. Feng continues to explore new ways to implement artificial olfaction within society.
